Sessions will cover the contents of the GCSE English syllabus provided by the school’s chosen examining board (e.g. AQA, OCR). By targeting areas of weakness identified by both student and tutor, these sessions will serve to reinforce teaching done at school and to prepare the student for the study of English at a higher level of education (i.e. A-Level).
GCSEs in English Language and Literature are necessary qualifications for any future employment opportunities, and must be passed. Different students can have different targets for this qualification, for example:
Grade 7 student – wants to achieve grade 8/9.
Grade 4 student – wants to achieve grade 5.
Each student’s individual requirements will be carefully considered when designing their bespoke tuition programme.
